Rich was born in Boston, Massachusetts and graduated from Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. in 1971 with a BS in Business Administration. After graduating from Georgetown, Rich enjoyed a successful career in the municipal services industry. During his career, Rich learned that listening and understanding peoples' needs was essential to success. Rich began his real estate career in the mid-seventies in Massachusetts, as a licensed Broker. Later, he obtained New York Salesperson’s license. Now a resident of Naples, Rich is continuing his Real Estate career as Owner and Managing Broker of Amerivest Realty of Southwest Florida and Leader of the Dooley Realty Group. As a REALTOR®, Rich believes that informed Buyers and Sellers make the most satisfied clients and he enjoys educating his clients on current market conditions and trends. Rich believes that clients MUST be comfortable with their buying and selling decisions. He delivers this comfort through education, experience and communication.
Once his clients' have a true understanding of the market and their needs have been determined; Rich's work begins. Rich utilizes all of the tools (MLS, Public Records, etc.) available to him to evaluate, analyze and develop various options for his clients. The communication of this information as well as a comprehensive explanation of the facts developed by his analysis is how clients obtain an understanding and a comfort with their decisions. Rich believes that purchasing or selling property should not be a chore or a worry for his clients. Rich believes that education and information as well as his willingness to take the time to communicate with his clients are what make him different in today's real estate world.
